The Territory

Along the Riviera Picena delle Palme, in the Marche region, is Grottammare, a beautiful place on the Adriatc Sea. Its name is linked to an esotic imaginary, due to the fine sand, to the clear water, to the emerald palms and to the vivid colours of the oleander flowers which embellish the promenade. And than, palms, pinewoods, orange groves, as a mark of the benefit climate of Grottammare.

The city is also well known for its architecture: Colombo Street, which road surface is in porphyry and Carrara white marble, is famous for its detached houses in Liberty Stile, characterized by winding lines and flower decorations. 

Opposite to the beach, instead, there is the Old Town of Grottammare, its historical heart, which kept its medieval structure, with enchanting brick little houses and the original "pavement"… all details which contribute to make Grottammare the perfect location where to spend a relaxing holiday or for a romantic vacation...
